Asphalt foil exclusively for Shapeshifter Media StairGraphics

Asphalt Art and Shapeshifter Media sign a contract on exclusive use of asphalt foil on stair-like surfaces and staircases.

The asphalt foil licensed and sold by Asphalt Art GmbH, a background material for high-quality printing, is ideally suited for long-term indoor and outdoor use. The soft aluminium self-adhesive foil is an extremely safe backing material for advertising motifs, even under difficult conditions and in all weathers. It can be applied to almost every surface.

Under the contract, Shapeshifter Media gains a worldwide exclusive right to the use of this foil on stair-like surfaces and staircases.

The use of asphalt foil as a backing material for our StairGraphics grants maximum quality, safety and flexibility. As the asphalt foil is applied across the edges of the steps of a staircase installed with StairGraphics, it creates an additional anti-slip surface at the front of every step. This anti-slip protection gives the step extra grip and optimises visibility of the individual steps for everyone using the stairs, even under low lighting conditions.

Apart from the motif on the front surface of the steps, which already creates an optical contrast between the front surface and the top of each step, the anti-protection function can also be individually adjusted to the colour of the staircase, making maximum use of the added safety through Shapeshifter Media StairGraphics.

Shapeshifter Media StairGraphics grant the surface of a staircase a new economic value and provide extra safety on the steps.
